Mother’s Day is May 9th. Cards are available in both the Parish and Shrine Churches. Please return them to the Rectory no later than Wednesday, May 5th, to assure that all Mothers will be remembered in the Mother’s Day Masses. The large cards are for the living and the small envelopes are for the names of the deceased. (note: they can be dropped off in the rectory mail slot).
As we did at Christmas, anyone who would like to donate to the Easter Flowers in memory of a deceased loved one, may pick up an Easter Flowers Envelope in either Church. We will again print the names of those in whose memory the flowers have been donated. Please return the envelope by Monday, March 22nd. We will not be able to add any names received after March 22nd as the list will be sent to the printer. To insure the correct spelling, PLEASE PRINT NAMES ON THE ENVELOPE ~ Thank you!

Recently, the Clarkstown Police Department has taken several reports involving email scams. The scammer slightly alters the Priests or Pastors google email and sends fraudulent requests to parishioners with requests to purchase money cards. The scammer then asks for a picture of the money card and the money card information. The CaReS unit is requesting we notify parishioners about this scam and have parishioners check with the parish directly before sending any money on behalf of the parish. The only way to donate is via Church Envelopes in basket at Mass, drop off at the rectory, mail into the Rectory or the on-line LPI/We Share Parish giving. Remind parishioners to also use caution when opening emails. Thank you,The CaReS Unit.

SOMEONE WHO CAN LISTEN Everyone goes through crises sometimes. When that is happening, we can benefit from a conversation with an experienced professional counselor who shares our Catholic perspective. Our parish can make a connection for you through the archdiocese's PARISH COUNSELING NETWORK. Our parishioners can make an appointment to meet with a professional counselor in Rockland County or anyplace in the archdiocese for up to six meetings, with only a $10 co-pay per session. Tell Father that you want to talk with a counselor. He will contact the appointment desk on your behalf and then you can call and arrange your first visit. If interested please call 1-866-962-7487.
